Wanda Janean (Marler) Russell of Potosi, Missouri, was born on August 26, 1934 in Belgrade, Missouri, a daughter of the late Dolphus Marler and the late Sally Mae (Goodson) Marler. Wanda passed away on December 1, 2020, having reached the age of eighty-six years, three months and six days. Those who remain to cherish her memory include her son, Warren Russell; grandchildren: Andrew Russell and wife Amanda, Aaron Russell, Amanda Thompson and husband Michael; great grandchildren: Joel Russell, Carleigh Thompson, Chase Thompson and Landen Thompson; daughters-in law: Phline Russell and Jackie Russell; sisters: Nelda Lands and Wilda Gensler. Wanda is also survived by many special nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Dolphus and Sally Mae Marler; husband, Joel V. Russell; sons: Randall Russell and Colin Russell; siblings: Orville Silvey, Goldie Pelich, Merlin Silvey, Veldon Marler, Marie Obranovie and Donald Silvey. Wanda was also preceded in death by many other dear relatives. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 4:30 pm to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. A second visitation will also be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 9 to 10 am at DeClue Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10 am at DeClue Memorial Chapel.
