<p>Hazel L. Jones 86, of New London, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at GlenOaks Care Center in New London.&nbsp; A burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in New London.&nbsp; Services are entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home in New London.&nbsp; www.hafh.org&nbsp;</p> <p>Hazel Leota Jones was born on July 21th, 1934, in Elgin, MN, the daughter of Branton and Grace (Harvey) Howe.&nbsp; Hazel spent her childhood in the Twin Cities Metro Area and received her education in New London.&nbsp; Hazel was united in marriage to Arlos Jones in 1951&nbsp;and shared 69 years of marriage with him.&nbsp;</p> <p>Hazel enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards, and baking. &nbsp;Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a special joy for her.&nbsp; In her later years, she and Arlos enjoyed traveling.&nbsp; On one of their travels, Hazel appeared on her favorite game show, The Price Is Right.&nbsp; She was a lifelong member of Hope Presbyterian Church, and she loved her church family.</p> <p>&nbsp;Hazel is survived by her husband Arlos; sons, Dale (Kathy), and Joe (LaRay); 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard; three infant children; and her sister, Evie Otterness.&nbsp;</p>
