Jewell A. Jordan

Jewell A. Jordan, 88, of Richland, died on November 26, 2020 at Richland Woods. Born on October 28, 1932 in Johnstown, daughter of Julius G. and Theresa M. (Fombank) Pallos.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband John E. Jordan, son John Jr., and brother-in-law Gib McGough.

Survived by daughter Joy and fiancée Matt Oreskovich, Las Vegas; grandchildren, Evan Jordan, Dylan Jordan, and Ty Baumbaugh (Stacy); great grandchildren, twins Jack and Allyson Baumbaugh; sister Carol M. McGough (Gib). Also survived by nieces, nephews, and special nieces and nephews.

Jewell was a graduate of Richland Twp High School and Indiana State Teachers College. She taught 1st grade for 33 years at Richland's University Park School. Jewell was a kind and loving teacher who saw brilliance in everything her students said and did. She was a longtime member of the YMCA, enjoying water aerobics. She was also a very social person who loved to travel, especially to visit her sister and to be with family and friends. Jewell was a loving & caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed and remembered by everyone who knew her.

There will be a public viewing for close friends and family from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Ave. Johnstown PA 15904.

Jewell was a lifelong member of St. Benedict Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 1:30 PM. Entombment, St. Joseph Mausoleum.

Facial masks are required and social distancing protocols will be enforced.
