Richard “Tony” A. Burke, 53, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland, with his wife and children at his side.  He was born on June 17, 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Richard E. and Henrietta (Maynard) Burke. 

He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved demo derbying and loved racing at several local tracks.  Tony was a member of the Norwalk Eagles Aerie #711 for 5 years.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife, family and friends, spending time with his grandchildren, and he especially loved all 7 of his four-legged babies. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Anita (Pratt) Burke, of Norwalk, Ohio; his children, Nicole (Chaz) Smith of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Christopher (Tonya) Pratt of Norwalk, Ohio and Samantha (Darren) Pratt of Greenwich, Ohio; his grandchildren, Michael, Isabella, Samuel, Jeremiah, Jaxon, Korbin and Ellie; his special aunt, Mary Ann Hamilton, of Shenandoah, VA, along with numerous aunts and cousins; and by special brothers, Robert “Bobby” Slagel and Mark Gainok. 

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by a special brother, Johnny Jensen. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  For entry inside all visitors are required to bring and wear a mask.  Only a small group of visitors will be allowed inside at one time, and everyone should be prepared for the possibility of waiting outside in line until there is room available to allow for proper social distancing.   There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 5, 2020 beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.  Masks are required at the graveside service and social distancing and mass gathering guidelines will also apply.  Memorial contributions if desired may be made out directly to the family or to the funeral home in care of the family.  The service will be recorded and uploaded to the funeral home website for those unable to attend.  Online condolences to the family may also be expressed by visiting www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
