Sarah Polvere, of Valhalla, NY, passed away November 30, 2020. She was 97. Sarah was born November 29, 1923 in White Plains, NY to Antonio and Lucia (nee Del Prete) Pizzuto.

On June 1, 1957 Sarah married her husband, Mario N. Polvere at Sacred Heart Church in Hartsdale, NY. He predeceased her in 1994.

Sarah worked on and off for over 40 years, retiring in 1993. Sarah lived her life for three things: Family, Faith, and Food. She was very proud of her Italian-American heritage and volunteered her time and cooked for many organizations and events over the years, from church fundraisers, Boy Scouts, Little League, the American Legion, and Valhalla High School events.

Sarah is survived by her two sons: Mario J. (wife, Mary) of Shenorock, NY, and Anthony of Powell, WY, and three grandchildren: Michael J. Polvere of NYC, Emily Polvere of NYC, and Andrea Polvere of Shenorock, NY.
