<p>Jeffrey Ambrose Burns</p> <p>1957 - 2020</p> <p>Jeffrey “Jeff” Ambrose Burns died unexpectedly in Winnipeg at the Health Science Center on November 29, 2020 at the age of 62.</p> <p>Jeff is survived by his mother Mary Burns; brother Blaine Burns; daughter Cheryl Burns; grandchildren: Jayda, Hailey, Chanelle, Jeremy and Hilary; great granddaughter Veronica and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jeff is preceded in death by his father Henry Burns, and brother Brian Patrick Burns.</p> <p>Jeff was born December 19, 1957. He married Linda Breland in 1983. Jeff considered his step-children Steven, Destiny, Crystal and many step- grandchildren and great grandchildren as part of his immediate family. He will also be greatly missed by his good friends Vic, Sue, John and Linda.</p> <p>As a child Jeff was fascinated with trucks of all kinds. Consequently, he was involved in long haul trucking for most of his working life. He was also a licensed certified truck and trailer mechanic so if he wasn’t driving, he was working on his rig or a friend’s.</p> <p>Jeff will be remembered as a loving, generous and happy person who always had a joke ready to lighten the mood.
