Anne Hays Dennard, 65 of Fortson, GA died Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, GA. Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Dennard will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, December 6, 2015 at St. Peter United Methodist Church, Columbus, GA. Mrs. Dennard was born March 5, 1950 in Hazelhurst, GA the daughter of Mary Nell Adams Hays and William Alton Hays, Sr. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and a faithful member of St. Peter United Methodist Church, Columbus. She is survived by her husband J. Richard Dennard, daughter Ashley D. Boyett, son and daughter-in-law Rich and Kim W. Dennard all of Fortson; sister Mary Richardson of Vidalia, GA and brothers W. A. Hays, Jr. of Athens, GA and Preston Hays of Franklin, NC; three grandchildren Carter Alton Dennard, Jacob Franklin Dennard and Brody James Boyett. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in memory of Anne H. Dennard to the St. Peter’s United Methodist Church building fund 6507 Moon Road Columbus, GA 31909.
