Rev. Daniel "Dan" James Teller Of Round Lake Daniel "Dan" James Teller, 66, of Round Lake, IL succumbed to Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) at JourneyCare of Barrington, IL on November 28, 2020. Dan was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan the son of James E. and Delores (Melie) Teller. Dan is survived by his wife Sharon of 47 years, sons Michael (Tricia) and Chris, and granddaughters Bella and Lilliana. He is also survived by siblings Debbie Rocco, Timothy (Carol) Teller, Christina (Jeff) Essenmacher, Lisa (Ken) Towne, Antoinette (Mark) Fraeyman, mother-in-law Barb Verschaeve, step-sister-in-law Elizabeth (Tim) Mulligan, step-brother-in-law Ian Allan, and sister-in-law Michelle (John) Young. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, pastor, and friend to everyone. Dan is preceded in death by his father James E. Teller, father-in-law Ralph W. Verschaeve, sister-in-law Caron M. Strohbeck, and step-brother-in-law David J. Allan. Dan loved to cook, work around the house, attend and watch sports, and spend time with his family and friends. Dan served as pastor for 30 years at numerous congregations in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, but was forced to give up the career he loved and was passionately dedicated to due to his health. Dan spent his free-time cooking amazing food for his family and friends, cheering on his sons in their sports, activities, and endeavors. He also enjoyed cheering on his granddaughters in volleyball, cheer, dance, and gymnastics. He enjoyed his time away from his church and vacationing with his family and could easily take a nap anywhere.<br/><br/>Special thank you to the staff at JourneyCare of Barrington for their loving care and support during his final days.
