Lola G. Sanchez

<p>Lola G. Sanchez, 79, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away, November 27, 2020. She was born to the late Francisco and Angelita Gonzales, April 16, 1941, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Lola is survived by her husband, Adan G. Sanchez, Sons: Ben (Michelle) Sanchez, Adan (Cyndi) Sanchez III, Daughters: JoAnn (Ismael) Deleon, Cynthia Pena and stepchildren Maria (Frank) Garcia, Virginia Gonzalez, Adan (Mary Lou) Sanchez Jr, Melly Sanchez, Javier (Lillie) Sanchez, Abel Sanchez, Jerry (Irene) Sanchez and her siblings Mary Sanchez, Francis Garcia, Matilda (Larry) Quintanilla, Jesse (Janie) Gonzales and Pedro (Olivia) Gonzales and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Frank Gonzales (who she lovingly called her &ldquo;twin&rdquo;), her sister Consuelo Gonzales and stepson, Juan Manuel Sanchez.<br /> Growing up Lola was especially close to her father and had countless quotes of his she imparted to those closest to her. She was a hard worker leaving school at a young age to help her father with his refuse disposal business then working for Levi&rsquo;s Strauss for many years and eventually retiring from Trend House. Lola was a professional seamstress and an integral part of her husband&rsquo;s band, Los Tamaulipecos Hnos. Sanchez.<br /> Visitation will be held from 5-9pm and Rosary at 7pm on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Due to COVID limitations, the Rosary will be limited to 75 people. Masks are required. Private Mass will take place at 12pm on Monday, December 7th at Holy Family Catholic Church (strict COVID protocol) with procession to her final resting place at Rosehill Memorial Park.</p> <hr /> <div class="obitpanel" style="min-height:20px"> <p><button class="btn btn-default"></button></p> </div>
