Sarah Elizabeth Krug

Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Krug, age 79, of Washington, NJ passed peacefully on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at home with her family by her side. Betty was born October 4, 1941, in Sugar Creek, PA. She is the daughter of the late Orrie McClimans and the late Nora Carpenter. Betty was a graduate of Westside High School in Newark NJ. She married Joseph J. Krug on March 29th, 1958. Together they raised their family in Parsippany and Lyndhurst NJ. She is survived by her beloved husband: Joseph J. Krug of Washington NJ; daughter and son in law, Donna Schwartz and husband Greg of Washington, NJ, daughter: Lena Anne Krug of Chestnut Ridge, NY, and son: Joseph D Krug of Binghamton, NY; daughter in law, Tara Krug of South Salem, NY: six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and two great-nieces. Betty was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Robert Rowe. Relatives and friends may gather with the family on Thursday, December 3, 2020, from 9:30 am until the start of the service at 11:30 am at Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
