Herbert Campbell Fair Play – Herbert Blake Campbell, 86, husband of the late, Laurie Woods Campbell, passed away Monday, November 30th, 2020 at Pruitt Health of Pickens. Herbert was born in Anderson County, he was the son of Jesse Leonard and Mamie Carver Campbell. He was retired from Fair Play Equipment as a Shop Foreman and was a member of Fair Play Church of God. Herbert is survived by his sons, Randy Blake Campbell (Sherri) of Walhalla, Scott Blake Campbell of Fair Play; daughters, Patricia A. Comer (Charles) of Fair Play, Joanne C. Standridge (Bo) of Westminster, Carolyn Ann Crocker (Kenneth) of Seneca, Rebecca Ann Kelley (Terry) of Westminster; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Laurie Woods Campbell, Herbert was preceded in death by brothers, Hubert Campbell, Leonard Campbell; sisters, Virgie Robinson, Bobbie Sue Toney; three grandchildren, Kenn Crocker, Josh Donald, James Davis; and one great-grandchild, Katelyn Norman. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 at 2 pm, at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home. The family is at their respective homes and flowers are accepted.
