Rev. Danny Edward Woodlieff, 70, of Asheboro went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 30, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Danny was born on June 10, 1950 to Bobby Alvin Woodlieff and Carolyn Embler Woodlieff in Davidson County. He married Patricia Hurst in 1976.  Rev. Woodlieff served the Lord faithfully as pastor in the Independent Methodist and Nazarene church for many years. He served as a teacher at Carolina Christian Academy in Thomasville. Danny had a gentle spirit, and had genuine love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and wife Patricia “Patty” Hurst Woodlieff. Surviving are his father, Bobby Woodlieff and wife Mary Wynn of Thomasville; two children, Daniel Woodlieff and wife Christie of AL, Pamela Woodlieff Noegel and husband Matt of GA; a sister, Barbara Carter and husband Tim of Thomasville; a brother, Johnny Woodlief and wife Janet of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Meredith Woodlieff, Patrick Barfoot, John David Noegel; many extended family and friends.
