Kathryn Emma Larson, 91, of Gainesville, GA and Boca Raton, FL, passed away on November 27, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Kathryn was born November 8th, 1929 in Coxsackie, NY to Henry and Lucy Jenne. She met her husband, Harold Larson, in New York, and began her family in Poughkeepsie, NY. In 1969, she relocated to South Florida with her family and remained there until she retired to Gainesville, Georgia with her daughter.

Kathryn was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother throughout her life, always putting her family first. She was involved with her children throughout their early lives helping with PTA, high school band and other activities. She was a member of the American Legion with her husband and was active with the Voiture 40:8. Kathryn was a strong Christian, always willing to help with vacation bible school, Sunday school, and any other activity the church asked of her.

She is survived by her children, Lorraine(Rich) Youmans-Schoemer, Craig Youmans, Kimberly(Layne) Larson, and Kristen(Rick) Miklos, 10 grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Jared, Craig Jr., Shane, Andrea, Erin, Elaine, Allison, and Logan, and  15 great grandchildren, Emma, Adalyn, Silvia, Daxson, Alex, Charlie, Timothy, Benjamin, Genevieve, Jacqueline, Kali, Mason, Abbigail, Mya, and Mason.

She is predeceased by her husband, Harold, and her grandson, Brandon.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3rd, at the Glick Family Funeral Home from 10am-12pm, with a funeral service beginning at noon. She will then be laid to rest with her husband at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
