Arthur William Rees went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, November 27, 2020. Born February 14, 1931 in Frostburg, MD, he was the son of William and Mabel Emily (Mules) Rees. He was a 1948 graduate of Beall High School and a 1960 graduate of the University of Baltimore. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and remained a proud Marine throughout his life. He dearly loved his kids and grandkids and never missed sending a card on birthdays and anniversaries. He prayed for every family member every day, including extended family. He signed every letter with "Phil. 1:3" ("I thank my God every time I remember you"). He loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Eckhart Baptist Church. A devoted husband, he leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Mary Rees. Others who will also dearly miss him are his children, William Rees (Patricia); Kathleen Gover (John); John Rees (Pamela); Thomas Rees; and his nine beloved grandchildren.
