Richard Henry Wern went to be with the Lord on November 28th, 2020 at the age of 74. Born to Donald and Margaret Joyce Wern on April 21st 1946 in Geneva, NY. He proudly served in the United States Air Force at Carswell Air Force Base in Ft. Worth, TX as crew chief of the B52 Bomber. He retired from WBH Industries in 2013 after 33 years. Richard loved fishing with his kids, music, the Dallas Cowboys, and cheering on his children and grandchildren in sports. He was "Hopelessly Devoted" to his wife, Mina, for 50+ years. They are members of St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, 7341 Glenview Dr, North Richland Hills, TX 76180 where services are scheduled for Friday, Dec 4th 2020 with a rosary at 10:30am and the funeral mass at 11am. The service will be livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUHa-BA-2Oq_Uc-01wBwb8Q. Military honors will be planned for a later date at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Preceded in death by parents Donald and Margaret Joyce Wern and sister Donna Jankowski. Survived by his loving wife, Mina Wern; Daughters, Dawn Vestal (Davy) and Annie Hons (Matthew); Son, Scott Wern (Christina); Grandchildren, John Goldring, Eva Hons, Carsten Wern, and Everett Wern.
