Neil “Nick” Frank Nikkinen
Neil “Nick” Frank Nikkinen, 58 of Ocala, a loving husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend, went on to be with the Lord on November 27, 2020. Nick was born July 18, 1962 in Lake Forest, Illinois. He moved to Florida in 1985 where his nearly 30 years of real estate appraisal experience began. He was a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI). Nick loved the Lord, photography, traveling, cooking, and swimming with his grandkids. He leaves many to cherish his memories, his wife Rosalind; daughter’s Lindsey Nikkinen Scardino (Anthony), Roxanne Cox (Ian); son’s David Livingston, and Dustin Livingston; sister Leslie Nikkinen; brother Ronald Nikkinen (Nancy); four precious grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Nick was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Nancy. The impact of his kindness and guidance was also felt by his work as a Board Member for Interfaith Emergency Services, Chairman of the Camp Kiwanis Foundation Trustees, and as a member of Church of Hope First Impressions team. A private celebration of Nick’s life will be held Sunday, December, 6 at 1:00 pm at the Church of Hope. We are kindly asking those wishing to attend please do so virtually.
