Mary Wunsche

Mary Elizabeth Wunsche, 85, went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2020. She was born in Victoria, Texas on September 18, 1935 to Tom and Jessie Tomlison. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Spring Baptist Church, 1027 Spring Cypress Rd., Spring, Tx 77373. Funeral Service will be held one hour after the visitation on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the church. She will be buried at Budde Cemetery in Spring, Tx. following the funeral service. Mary was a schoolteacher in the Aldine district for over 30+ years. She was known to those closest to her as someone who loved to read, sew, cruise, enjoyed a plate of Mexican food, and to travel around the United States visiting the presidential libraries with her AARP group. Some of her favorite things to collect were porcelain angels and china with violets on it. Mary was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star and held the following predominant positions: Past Matron of Klein #1141, Spring #1105, and Humble #425. She also served as Grand Representative of Texas to Delaware and a Grand Representative of Louisiana to Massachusetts. She is survived by her sons, John Andrew Wunsche, Carl Wesley Wunsche and wife Yvonne, and Paul Edward Wunsche and wife Becky; grandchildren, Suzette Elizabeth (Wunsche) Sanchez and husband Roberto, Bryan Garrett Wunsche, Carl Wesley Wunsche Jr., Emily Ann Wunsche, John Andrew Wunsche Jr., Rex William Wunsche; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Rose Wunsche, Aurora Elizabeth Sanchez, and Noah Daniel Wunsche. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Jessie Tomlinson; sisters, Edwina Baker and Karen Owen; daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne Inez (Wunsche) Lee and husband Brent.
