Leo Toney of Chattanooga, TN, went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 30, 2020. He was the fourth of twelve children of the late Merry and Eliza Toney. Mr. Toney served in the Korean War as a Corporal in the United States Armey, and received an Honorable discharge in 1954. He retired from Mtn. View Ford after 27 years of service. Mr. Toney was preceded in death by his brothers, JD, Harris, Lawrence, Ivery, Jimmy, Carl, Gabriel, Richard; and his sister, Nina. He leaves his wife of 37 years, Mrs. Sandra Toney; daughters, Valerie Chapman, Columbus, OH, Tiffany Lewis, Atlanta, GA; son, Robert (Nadia) Shropshire, Chattanooga, TN; brother, James (Altemese) Toney; sister, Irene Dixson; grandchildren, Reginald Chapman, Cary Lewis, Trey Lewis, Raven Lewis, Hamilton Shropshire; great granddaughter, NaKeyshia Chapman; a host of family and friends to cherish his memory. Public viewing will be from 8:30 – 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the funeral home, followed by 11:00 AM graveside services at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
