Rapp, Michael E. Age 70 Michael “Mike” Rapp, passed away on November 28, 2020. Born in 1950 to the late Edward and Florence Rapp, he grew up on the south side of Chicago. Mike was an owner-operator for various moving companies over the years traveling all over the country. He loved fishing, golfing, snowmobiling and sharing a beer with his many friends. Mike is survived by his children Michael Rapp and Melissa (John) Kud, siblings George (Terry) Rapp, Mary (Craig) Morello, grandchildren Amanda Rapp, Gianna Kud, Aubrey Kud, and Kayla Kud, aunt Pauline Stevens, uncle Tom (Shari) Janik, many nieces and nephews, long-time friends and his companion Sandra Hyerczyk. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Jacob Rapp. Due to Covid-19, masks are required and no loitering is preferred. Visitation Saturday 1:00 p.m. until time of Service 4:00 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL Interment private We understand that not everyone will feel comfortable visiting on Saturday, and we know Mike enjoyed a good party. Therefore, he will be celebrated in May or June 2021 when it is hopefully safe for everyone to gather to share a good meal, a few drinks and some great stories. Mike was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity at Lewis University and has continued to support the organization over the years.
