He was the beloved husband of the late Maryruth (Wallace) Elliott. The couple shared 54 years of marriage and lived in Glenmoore for nearly 40 years after living in the Cedarbrook section of Philadelphia for several years and in Wilkes-Barre and Jacksonville, Florida.

Harry graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1949 and excelled at basketball and baseball. Following high school Harry volunteered to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War.  While in the Army he saw an ad for tryouts for the Division’s Baseball team and signed up. His first job was with Burroughs Corporation in 1956 as a systems engineer. He traveled domestically and internationally installing and maintaining air traffic control systems and radar at airports. He survived several corporate mergers and take-overs during military base downsizing and retired from Lockheed Martin in 2003.

Harry was a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church in Coatesville and was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Downingtown for over 25 years before being redistricted to Saint Peter’s. Harry enjoyed tinkering with electronics, home repairs, yard work, and watching sports, especially Notre Dame Football and Boston Red Sox Baseball. He was also a fan of Villanova Basketball. However, his greatest love was for his family and he was the ultimate family man, husband, father, and grandfather.

Harry is survived by his three daughters: Cathy Kildea, wife of Tom, of Wallingford, Kim Burrichter, wife of Paul, of Drexel Hill, and Amy Darlington, wife of Chet, of Exton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The grandchildren - Kristin, Hope, Jill, Elizabeth, Emily, Andrew, Mary Kate, Ryan, and Sean.
