<p>Rita I. Helton, 64, of Russellville, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2020. She was a devoted and loving mother, daughter, sister, and wife. Rita&rsquo;s caring nature captivated all who she met and she will forever be loved, remembered, and missed. She loved playing guitar, singing, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Dorothy Lovin; brothers and sisters, Wilma Hurst, Wanda Baker, Steve Lovin, Randy Lovin, Larry Lovin, Richard Lovin, Norma Jean Lovin, and Ada Lovin.</p> <p>Survivors include her husband of 45 years Ronald Helton; children, Freddie Lovin, and Larry (Victoria) Helton; stepchildren, Ronald Helton Jr. and Wendy Gale Helton; grandchildren; Dylan Lovin, Brooke Lovin, Caleb Lovin, and Aleah Helton; several brothers and sisters; Homer (Buck) Lovin, Aileen Cable, Glenda Lovin, Brenda Smith, Bobby Lovin, Frances Cinnamon, Debbie Young, and David Lovin along with many nieces and nephews.&nbsp;</p> <p>The family will receive friends 5 &ndash; 7 PM, Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.&nbsp;&nbsp;Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held at 7 PM, with Rev. Kenny Clark officiating.&nbsp;&nbsp;Interment will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Lovin Cemetery in Hawkins County, TN.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.</p>

Rita’s caring nature captivated all who she met and she will forever be loved, remembered, and missed. She loved playing guitar, singing, and spending time with her family.
