Lukas Richard Dudley, 28, of rural Bemidji, MN died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 near Red Lake as a result of a hunting accident. Memorial Services were held 1:00 pm Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Redby Community Center in Redby, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji assisted the family. Luke was born May 27, 1992 in Bemidji, MN the son of Richard and Teri Dudley. He was born and raised in Bemidji. He attended Blackduck Elementary, playing Little League wrestling and and baseball. He attended middle school and high school in Bemidji, graduating from Bemidji High School in 2010. He is in the hall of fame for bench pressing and was lineman of the year for Lumberjacks football. He never schooled in Red Lake, but just became a member of the Red lake this past summer. He had worked at Northern Aggregate, Inc 3 months before the accident. He was following his passion for logging at the time of his death. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and cooking. He loved his family and friends. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. God be with you my son. He is survived by his father Richard Dudley, his mother Teri Lyseng-Dudley, sister Anna (Jeff) and niece Clarann Aery, fiance Miranda Thomas, her children Johnathan, Aunaliese, and his son expecting to be born in April -Benjamin Lukas Egan Dudley, aunts and uncles – Thomas and Gloria Dudley, Debra Beaulieu, Dave Dudley, John Dudley, Jim and Winona Dudley, Rebecca and leon Barrett, Gerold and Faye Dudley, Ida Lou Stein, Rolland Lyseng, Allen Lyseng, Joan and Mitch Knutson and Milton Bradseth, and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Ester and Herb Klasen, and Carl and Lorraine Lyseng and Elmer Kolkin, uncles Joseph Dudley, Dale Lyseng, and Lawrence Lyseng.
