Osvaldo Arroyo

Osvaldo Arroyo, 71, of Palatka, passed from this life on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at his home following a brief illness. He was a native of Utuado, Puerto Rico and had lived in Palatka for the past 5 years coming from Lehigh Acres, FL. Osvaldo had worked in a plant nursery and prior to that had worked as a truck driver. He loved playing guitar, writing music and singing. Osvaldo also enjoyed making everyone laugh with his jokes. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herminio Arroyo and Olga Castallano, brothers, Ifrain and Wilfredo, and sister, Herminia Arroyo. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ada Arroyo, son, Osvaldo Arroyo of Waterbury, CT, daughters, Michelle Arroyo and Marisol Arroyo both of Philadelphia, PA, brothers, Jose, Hector, Alberto and Orlando and sisters, Minerva, Migdalia, Judy, Olga and Marilyn, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Fernando Rios officiating.
