Mitchell, 78, of Waldron passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Ashford Place.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"> He was born March 5, 1942 in Shelbyville to William Charles Mitchell and Wilma J. (Swinford) Mitchell.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"> He graduated from Waldron High School. Fred was a member of the Grace Wesleyan Church. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of the 2nd Amendment Task Force. He was a inspector at Brazeway of Indiana. He enjoyed collecting coins, antiques, fine china and rare liquors. Fred also enjoyed his mornings at McDonalds with the local retirees. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"> Fred is survived by his sister Patricia A. Mercer-Tucker, his brother, Stephen Mitchell, his nieces, Vera Mercer and Pamela Garrison (Bobby), his nephew, Jimmie Mercer, 9 great nieces and nephews, 7 great-great-nieces and nephews.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"> He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"> Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, Friday, December 4, 2020 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S.
