Melynda Lee Smith, 50, of Spring Lake, NC, passed away on November 24, 2020 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Melynda was born on March 24, 1970 to Robert and Sandra Lanford of Stedman, NC. A graduate from Cape
Fear High School Fayetteville, NC.

Melynda married John Smith in April 14, 1999. Melynda became a military wife, mother, and business owner.

Melynda is predeceased by her brother, Chad Lanford. She is survived by her husband, John Smith Jr; her father
Robert Lanford, Mother Sandra Lanford, brother Todd Lanford; her two children, son Brandon Lanford and
daughter Haille Smith.
