Rose D. Lear

<p>Rose D. (Brantner) Lear, 85, of Altoona, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Elwood and Mary (Kifer) Brantner. She married Walter Lear, who preceded her in death after 25 years of marriage. Surviving are three daughters: Robin Lear of Duncansville, Mary Treese and husband Willis, Amy Greeley, and husband, Richie; two sons: Donald Brantner and wife Sally, all of Williamsburg, Jackie Brantner in NM; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandson.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas in 1995.</p> <p>Rose was a member of Grace Pointe Community Church. She enjoyed being a greeter for the Altoona Center for Nursing Care, and she loved fishing and camping with her family.</p> <p>There will be no public services at this time. Cremation service by Sorge Funeral Home &amp; Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to her family.</p> <p>sorgefuneralhome.com</p>

Pastor Rob & I loved her joy as she sang with us when we were at Altoona center .
We have missed her so much with this covid lockdown.
She's now singing in the heavenly choir.
