George William Earnshaw passed peacefully at his home in Davidsonville, MD on November 25. Born on September 1, 1936 in Fairmont, WV to the late William Edgar and Virginia Watson Earnshaw, George provided for his family through the construction industry. He enjoyed playing bluegrass music, fishing, bird hunting with his dogs and spending time with his grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his wife, Joan L. Earnshaw who was the love of his life for 53 years. He is survived by his three children, Jaye (Jon) Pearce of Red House, VA, William (Colleen) Earnshaw of Port Charlotte, FL and Jacqueline (Bob) Dean of Arnold, MD; his grandchildren, Will (Katlin) Pearce, Alex Pearce, Christina (Cory) Boylston, Dustin Earnshaw, Kaitlynn (Bobby) Abell, Nathan and Kendall Earnshaw, Kelsey, Madison, Spencer and Camryn Dean; his great-grandchildren, Carson and Canyon Boylston and Addison Abell; his sister-in-law, Linda (Tom) Poole; special family friends, Jane Whitcomb and Lee Argent and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice that supports our U.S. Veterans.
