Mrs. Nancy Gail Duggins McCormick, 73, a resident of Archdale, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at her home.  She was born on October 6, 1947 in Stokesdale, NC to Clyde Duggins and Clyde Ester Bullins Duggins.  She worked at Oakdale Cotton Mill and her and her first husband owned and operated the Bakertown Café.  She later graduated from UNC-Greensboro receiving her LPN and worked at Gray Brier Nursing Home and was an in-home health care nurse.  She was a member of New Heights Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Owen Biggs on December 25, 1991and James Ray McCormick, Sr. on March 19, 2016; and her sister, Claudia Clark.

Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Diane Gearren of the home and Linda Gail Biggs (Alan) of Badin Lake; son, Robert Dean Haizlip of Tennessee; step-sons, James Ray McCormick, Jr. of Thomasville and Danny Ray McCormick (Nora) of Kernersville; step-daughters, Sharon Marie McCormick of Thomasville and Lisa Marie McCormick of Randleman; brothers, Jerry Duggins of Stokesdale and James Duggins; sisters, Virginia Milliken of Trinity and Audrey Gann of High Point; eight grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Roger Porter officiating.  Entombment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday prior to the service from 12:30 – 1:30 PM at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to New Heights Baptist Church, 5082 Meadowbrook Dr. Trinity, NC 27370.  Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
