<p>Joseph Richard Buckley, age 85 of Jefferson, Texas passed away on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at home. Private family memorial to be held at later date. </p> <p>Joseph (Dick) was born on September 7, 1935 in Natchitoches, Louisiana. In Joseph’s early years he was a cattle buyer, which was his passion. He loved the outdoors and fishing. He loved his family and was always there to lend a helping hand. He will be missed dearly. </p> <p>Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Gwen Buckley; 3 great grandchildren, Katelyn Mutai, Aubree Taylor, Nolan Blevins; parents Joseph and Dessie Buckley; two brothers, Roy and Marvin Buckley; 3 sisters, Mary Beth Greeson, Janet Radasinovich, Carolyn Aldridge. He is survived by two sons, Michael Goodman and wife Julie of Haines City, Florida, Kent Goodman and wife Deana of Jefferson Tx and two daughters, Sheila Goodman Evers of Jefferson Tx, Darlene Buckley Duck and husband Bo of Jefferson Tx; 10 grandchildren, Chad McCollum, Amber McCollum, Richard Goodman and wife Allison, Kimberly Taylor, Aaron Goodman, Alecia Capps and husband Chris, Jada Love and husband Felix, Kevin Goodman and wife Marrisha, Kyle Blevins and wife Katie, Christopher Duck and wife Janna; 15 great grandchildren and one brother, Jimmy Buckley of Natchitoches Louisiana.</p>Obituary
