William Matthew Textor, Jr., 80 was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on January 27, 1940 to William Matthew and Charlotte M. (Seidel) Textor, Sr. William passed away peacefully in Leawood, Kansas on November 28, 2020. William is preceded in death by his parents, his sister; Paula Textor, and his wife of 55 years ; Mary Frances (Simmons) Textor. William is survived by his daughter; Laura (Bill) Kerns, his son; Matthew (Michelle) Textor, his six grandchildren; Cooper Kerns, Mary Kerns, Jacob Kerns, Elizabeth Textor, William Textor, Gregory Textor and his two sisters; Anne Boyd and Linda (Larry) Troen. William was a Vietnam Veteran; he served his country with the United States Army. William graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and graduated from The University of Missouri-Kansas City with a master’s degree in engineering. William was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at The University of Kansas. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus at Saint Michael the Arch Angel Catholic Parish. William was an architect and Realtor with Reece Nichols for over 40 years. He loved to hunt, travel and spend time with his family.
