Roy Francis Hauth, Jr. of Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, Indiana passed away at 6:40 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Grace Village Health Care at the age of 91.  

He was born on September 4, 1929 in Warsaw, Indiana to Thelma (Dunn) Hauth and Roy E. Hauth, Sr.  On August 12, 1951 he married Joellen (Mathia) Hauth.  They raised two sons and shared 69 years of marriage together before he passed away. 

Roy was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 1948 graduate of Warsaw High School.  He served his country in the National Guard. 

He was a lifetime farmer and worked for NIPSCO for 38 years.  He was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Warsaw, Lions Club, and Kiwanis Club where Roy was always first to volunteer for projects and fundraisers.  Roy also volunteered and helped  Habitat for Humanity projects out west.  Roy had a love of cars, especially his 1954 Jaguar XK 120 and always enjoyed a good car show.  Roy kept busy all the time and when he had a chance he loved to go fishing. He did also make time for relaxing on the Beach of Fort Myers every winter. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother and will be dearly missed by so many. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife:  Joellen Hauth (Winona Lake, Indiana); two sons:  Michael Anthony (Judy) Hauth (Mexico); Timothy Joel (Shirlee) Hauth (Warsaw, Indiana); two step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.  Also surviving is his sister:  Ruth Ann Neff (Indianapolis, Indiana); and his special friend:  Stephen Parker (Oro Valley, Arizona).  He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Ernest,Ralph, George,Billy and Austin Hauth, and his sister, Margaret Taylor.      

No services are planned at this time.  A graveside service will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Indiana.  Arrangements were entrusted with Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
