Elsie Judith Branison “Carol” was born February 3, 1945, she passed away surrounded by her family on November 26, 2020 at the age of 75. She was a lifelong resident of Frederick, Maryland. Elsie was the daughter of the late Robert Carrol and Lillian V. (Branison) Harrison. Elsie lived every moment of her life the way she wanted and could be seen all over town doing just that. She was affectionately known to many as Aunt Carol, and would give anyone the shirt off her back, a hot meal, and a place to stay if needed. She loved watching movies, listening to music, and dancing. She leaves to cherish her memory: two nieces that she raised as her own, Sherry “Wezzy” Jackson of Frederick, MD, and Kendra Branison of Frederick, MD; one brother, Murray S. “Poncho” Harris wife (Regina) of Frederick, MD; one sister, Haronia “Roney” Jackson of Prince Georges County, MD; eight grandchildren, Racole “Boobie”, Michael, Anaya, Adaiya, Keiaira, Douglas, Zuri, and Maryjane; one great-grandson, Messiyah; devoted niece, Michelle Biggus; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents, Elsie is preceded in death by: one brother, Delmar “Pablo” Harris; four sisters, Brenda “Billy” Kamper, Francis Branison, Joann (Harris) Bowie, and Mary “Frankie” Biggus.
