Daniel Dean Brown, 67 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Kindred Hospital. Cremation is planned with private services at a later date. Daniel was born August 21, 1953 in Council Bluffs, IA to Wilfred and Lois (Sorensen) Brown. He spent his early life in Iowa graduating from Tri-Center High School in Neola, IA and Iowa Western Community College. He had worked as a mechanic on farm machinery at implements dealerships and then for Wright Land Management. He had lived a number of years in Butler, MO where he was active in youth sports, the Butler Booster Club. He was a member and Elder in the Adrian Restoration Branch for 36 years before moving to Independence in 2013. He attended the Buckner Restoration Branch, working actively as an Elder in that congregation as well. He is survived by; his loving wife of 44 years, Teena of the home; 2 sons, Tony Brown and wife Aimee of Sibley, MO and Troy Brown of Kansas City, MO; 2 brothers, Leonard Brown of Concordia, Mo and Rodney and his wife Mary of Adrian, MO and 3 granddaughters, Lola, Zoe and Josie.
