Michael Dennis Machado, 73, of Manchester Township, passed away on November 26, 2020 at Southern Ocean Medical Center surrounded by family. Michael was born to the late Dennis and Helena (nee: Fox) Machado in Long Branch, NJ.
Michael was born on September 9, 1947 and spent his first 28 years in his beloved hometown of Matawan, NJ. He was very fond of his childhood and shared many stories about his adventures growing up with his wonderful friends and family. Michael joined the Navy after graduating high school in 1965. He was stationed on the minesweeper the USS Exploit and became their lead radioman. After the Navy, he attended DeVry University graduating in 1973.  He then spent most of his career working at Pana Sight and Sound in Red Bank. He traveled for a while living in North Carolina, Reno and Florida before settling in Whiting, NJ. Michael was known for his signature suspenders and witty sense of humor. He greatly enjoyed a vast amount of movies and television especially The Big Bang Theory and Lord of the Rings. He loved and enjoyed his grandchildren despite not being able to see them often. He was quite a character and will be missed by us.
Michael is predeceased by:  His mother Helena Machado in 1980,  his father Dennis Machado in 1990, his brother Philip Machado in 2008 and his sister Theresa Masarik in 2015.
