Shirley E. Tyler

Shirley Elizabeth Tyler departed this life on Monday November 23, 2020 at home after a long illness. She was born to the late William and Josephine Tyler in Jarratt, Virginia on November 4, 1936. She attended Little Shiloh Baptist Church in Emporia Virginia, along with her family in her younger years. In 1964, following Claudia, Shirley and Doretha who had previously moved to Plainfield, the rest of the family migrated to this area. Shirley eventually became a member of Ruth Fellowship Ministries of Plainfield and was faithful until her passing. Shirley was predeceased by her son Dennis Quincey Parker, four siblings, Leroy, Albert, Jean Tyler and Doretha Thomas. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Claudia Bertha Tyler, two daughters Sharon Denise Stewart of Coconut Creek, FL and Iris Rene Parker of Miami, FL, devoted nephew William Thomas of Paterson, New Jersey along with adopted son Pete Briggs of Plainfield, New Jersey; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 4 goddaughters; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends and her loving church family Ruth Fellowship ministries of Plainfield, New Jersey.
