Stanford G. Miller, 96, of Bob Street, Johnstown, formerly of Alum Bank died Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Windber Medical Center, Somerset County.

Mr. Miller was born in Alum Bank on August 4, 1924,   son of the late John Crawford and Bessie (Clark) Miller.

On January 11, 1946 Stanford married Sylvia E. (Miller) Miller. She preceded him on death on July 14, 2011.

He is survived by Son- Ronald L. Miller, Martinsburg, WV; Daughter- Deborah A. wife of  Donald Updyke, Johnstown; Son- Randy K. husband of  Wanda Moore, Bedford; Grandchildren Dustin Updyke, Rebecca Mills, Magan Miller and Kimberly Bury; Great-grandchildren Isabelle, Anthony, Gabrielle, Bridgette, Andrew, Alexis and Brooke; Sister- Ivis Kerr, Alum Bank; Brother- Gerald Miller, Katy, TX.  Stanford was preceded in death by Brother- Clark Miller and Great-granddaughter Melissa.

Stanford  was a  Carpenter at Berkebile Brothers Johnstown and was a member of the local Carpenters Union #1419.

He was a member of Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church New Paris, PA.

A Private Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville, Tuesday, December 1st with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.

Interment at Fishertown Cemetery.
