Edward E. Rice, 74, passed away on Friday November 27, 2020 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Ed was born in 1946, in Cumberland, Maryland, to the late William and Gladys Rice. Ed was a Vietnam Vet and retired from Goodyear.

His services will be for immediate family only, 5:00 PM Wednesday December 2, 2020 at Lafayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. There will be a link available to view the service virtually here on the Lafayette website.

Ed loved to hunt and fish and tell or listen to stories about his hunting trips. He cherished the memories he made with his grandchildren and loved to brag on them and his great grand-daughter.

He leaves behind his wife, Vickie Rice; daughter Julie and husband Bill McDowall; his son Brian Rice; brothers, Bob and wife Loretta, Jesse and wife Patti and Ronnie Rice; a sister Sue Nelson; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grand-daughter.
