<p>Jean Horning Wood, 88, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 28, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Parish, NY, she is &nbsp;the daughter of the late Thelma Horning Petit.</p> <p>Mrs. Wood enjoyed cross-country skiing, knitting, and traveling to visit her children and grandchildren. She worked for Nationwide Insurance until her retirement.</p> <p>Mrs. Wood leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years, Carl T. Wood Sr., along with three daughters, Marilyn&nbsp; Wood&nbsp; of&nbsp; Murrells&nbsp; Inlet,&nbsp; SC,&nbsp; Tammy&nbsp; (Mark) Baum&nbsp; of Louisville, KY, &nbsp;&amp; Joan (Chuck) Benjamin of Murrells&nbsp; Inlet,&nbsp; and&nbsp; her&nbsp; son,&nbsp; Carl (Kathy) Wood, Jr. of Dublin, GA; 6 grandchildren Brad (Liz) Benjamin of Conway, SC, &nbsp;Sara (Johnny) Stover of&nbsp; Dublin,&nbsp; GA, &nbsp;Jenna (Josh) Badgley&nbsp; of&nbsp; Louisville,&nbsp; KY, Jacob (Jaclyn) Benjamin of&nbsp; Murrells&nbsp; Inlet,&nbsp; SC, &nbsp;Jason Wood of Chicago, IL, &amp; Stephanie (Joe) Molina Cleveland, OH; and 15 great-grandchildren.</p> <p>A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 4, 2020 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, with Pastor Chris Spires officiating.</p> <p>Leave messages of comfort to the family using the Tribute Wall above.</p>
