<p>Cynthia Elizabeth (Szela) Ashley, 75, passed away in her home on November 27, 2020 after a courageous battle against cancer.&nbsp; Cynthia was born on July 16, 1945 in Springfield, daughter to the late Elbridge and Evelyn (Lewis) Farnsworth.&nbsp; She was raised and educated in West Springfield, and was a graduate of West Springfield High School.&nbsp; Cynthia was social worker for over 20 years for her own private practice and worked in Springfield and also Arizona.&nbsp; She was ball room dancer, enjoyed pilates, and horse back riding with her family.&nbsp; Cynthia is survived by her beloved children Scott Szela and Wendy Gaunt and her husband Edward.&nbsp; She was the cherished grandmother to Eddie Szela Benton, Sophie and Emma Gaunt and Tyler and Jacob Dehaven.&nbsp; She will be dearly missed by her sister Beverly Ashley, Richard Farnsworth, and to all who knew her. &nbsp; Cynthia was predeceased by her partner David Allen Seely in 2009.&nbsp; A graveside will take place on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 12:00PM at Silver Street Cemetery in Granville.&nbsp; To express condolences to the family, please visit www.westfieldfuneralhome.com for Cynthia&rsquo;s tribute page.</p>
