<p>Shirley Andrews Caudill, age 66, of 156 Alleghany Manor Road, Sparta, NC; passed away Saturday, November 28th, 2020 at her residence.<br /> <br /> Shirley was born June 3rd, 1954 in Alleghany County to the late Elder Ray and Eva Jean Ayers Andrews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lowell Johnson; a brother, Earl Andrews.<br /> <br /> Shirley will be remembered for the love she had for her husband, children, grandchildren, brother, sisters, her puppy and all of her extended family and friends. She loved the Lord, and enjoyed going to her church. She was very passionate about life, loved to cook, to go fishing, and to travel.<br /> <br /> Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Ed Caudill of the home; two children: daughter, Tonia J. Shatley and husband Richard of Sparta; son, Billy L. Johnson of Ennice; a step-daughter, Stephanie C. Evans and husband Ricky of Greensboro; five grandchildren: Easton Johnson, Lance Shatley, Kenzie Shatley, Steven Shaver, and Trinity Evans; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne Andrews and wife Louise of Sparta; two sisters: Wanda Andrews of Ennice, Patricia Crouse of Sparta; her canine companion, Molly; several nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive.<br /> <br /> Funeral Services to honor the life of Shirley will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 in the Chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service, 115 Hawthorne Street, Sparta with the Reverend Derek Cowan and Pastor Doug Combs officiating. Interment will follow in the Crouse Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and all other times at the residence.<br /> <br /> Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we ask that you bring and wear mask during visitation and services at the funeral home.<br /> <br /> The family would like to thank Dr. Mary Digel for the great care she gave Shirley. Also, Debbie Walls, Terry Maines and the entire staff of Medi-Home Hospice for your compassionate care.<br /> <br /> Thomas Family Funeral Service is honored to be serving the Caudill Family. Shirley Andrews Caudill, age 66, of 156 Alleghany Manor Road, Sparta, NC; passed away Saturday, November 28th, 2020 at her residence.

Shirley was born June 3rd, 1954 in Alleghany County to the late Elder Ray and Eva Jean Ayers Andrews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lowell Johnson; a brother, Earl Andrews.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Ed Caudill of the home; two children: daughter, Tonia J. Shatley and husband Richard of Sparta; son, Billy L.
