Hartsville, SC

         

         Mr. Marion S. Crenshaw, age 82, entered into rest on Sunday, November 29, 2020. Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Chad Vick. Burial will follow in the Patrick Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

 

Due to the continued COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you practice social distancing at all times. The family would like for all attending the service to please wear a face covering.

 

Mr. Crenshaw was born June 6, 1938 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Guy and Mandylean Rayfield Crenshaw. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served in the S.C. Army National Guard. Mr. Crenshaw retired as Maintenance Manager at Florene-Darlington Tec., and following his retirement worked with Chesterfield County Building and Codes. In his earlier years, he officiated high school football, baseball, and basketball for over 10 years, and enjoyed coaching Dixie Youth in Hartsville. Marion was a faithful member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in the Living Last Supper drama each year. He was former Past Master, and held a lifetime membership in both the Hartsville Masonic Lodge #173 and Ruby Masonic Lodge # 314, and was a former Worthy Patron in the Order of Eastern Star, Hartsville, SC.

 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Crenshaw was also preceded in death by his brothers, Randolph, Ira, and James Junior Crenshaw; and sister, Margie Crenshaw Binder.

 

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Cornelia C. Crenshaw; sons, Tommy (Dafne) Crenshaw of Bonney Lake, WA, and Steve Crenshaw of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Kaitland Jackson, Rachael (Michael) Wisdom, Andrea Crenshaw, and Elijah Crenshaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.
