Richard C. Orr, age 79 of Beaver Dams, passed away on Friday, November 27th, 2020 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born on January 3rd, 1941 in Corning, New York the son of the late Francis Orr and Margaret (Hall) Orr. Richard graduated with the Class of 1959 from Northside High School. He married Gerry Lea (Murray) Orr on October 24th, 1975. Richard was employed by the Corning Inc. for more than 20 years where he worked as a gob attendant. In his free time, Richard enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. He found fishing, boating and taking long walks especially relaxing. Richard had a love for all animals, but his family pets had a special place in his heart. Richard was also very fond of his cars. Most of all, Richard will be remembered as a man who cared deeply about his family. Richard is survived by his loving wife: Gerry; his children: Joleen Murphy, Richard B. (Rena) Orr, Jonathan Orr and Richard W. Robinson Jr.; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and his nieces and nephew. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother: Robert Orr. It was Richard's wish that there be no services. Burial will be in the Beaver Dams Cemetery.
