Karen Irene Sallee, 76, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2020, after battling dementia and Covid-19. Karen was born on February 9, 1944, to Gloyd and Thelma Sallee. Karen was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and great-aunt to many. She was loved and will be missed by her siblings, Dalton Sallee, Loretta Marquis, Clint Sallee, and also Walter Brown and Susie LaFromboise; children, Leala Tyree, Shirley Cortright, Eric McCollum, Derek Gray, and Aaron Borgstrom. Karen is also survived by twenty grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. She had a loving and fulfilling life. Karen was raised in Ulm, MT. She later made a home in Sun Prairie where she welcomed everyone. Karen enjoyed going to church, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and helping others in need. Karen had a big heart and will truly be missed by all who knew her. Due to Covid-19, a graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the Ulm Cemetery for immediate family and close friends. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
