Carlos Eugene "Dude" Engler, 76 of Quality, Kentucky passed away Saturday November 28, 2020 at his residence. Eugene was born November 11, 1944 in Butler County, Kentucky to the union of the late Jack and Melissa McKinney Engler. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one son Mark Grady Proctor and one brother Thomas Engler. Carlos Eugene "Dude" Engler is survived by his wife of 50 years Margaret Morgan Engler of Quality, Kentucky; one daugther Amanda Anderson; two sons Allen and Joey Proctor all of Quality, Kentucky; four grandchildren Seth Proctor (L'oreal) of Germany, Dustin Anderson of Quality, KY, Chelsea Proctor of Texas and Quintin Phelps (Emili) of Morgantown, KY; four great grandchildren Ryleigh, Weston and Everleigh Proctor of Germany and Blakeley Phelps of Morgantown, KY. In light of the current health and safety risk the Engler family has requested all services be privately held at the Jones Funeral Chapel. A private burial will be held in the Union Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy McIntosh officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Butler County Cancer Assistance P.O. Box 98 Aberdeen KY 42201.
