<p>Mary Florence Stewart Mosley passed away in her sleep on November 27, 2020. She was born in Ft. Benning Georgia on July 30, 1940 to Charles D. Stewart and Mazie N. Stewart..</p> <p>Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday December 3, 2020 at McLaughlin Mortuary with Dr. Jim Kinder officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM, Thursday&nbsp;at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, two granddaughters, Jodie and Danielle Renee, and a daughter in law, Cathy Mosley, and her beloved husband, Joseph Mosley Sr. They had been married for 56 years. Florence is survived by her three sons, Timothy, Joseph Jr. (Cheryl), Stewart (Denise). Four grandsons, TJ, Matthew, Brandon, and Evan. Four great-grandchildren, Silas, Sawyer, Audrey and Sarah.</p> <p>Upon her husband&rsquo;s retirement, Joe and Florence hit the road from Pigeon Forge to Missouri to south Florida. When not traveling, Florence enjoyed sewing her own clothes, mending clothes for other people, and making facemasks for family and friends. Florence was an avid reader who loved a good book. Florence especially had a green thumb for growing and maintaining her various flowers growing in her yard. Once inside, Florence was able to cook up some mouth watering meals as well as bake some incredible cookies, pies, and breads. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. These last few months have been a struggle for Florence, but she never showed anything but a positive outlook and was often heard saying &ldquo;I will just take one day at a time and give it my best&rdquo; and &ldquo;there&rsquo;s nothing that I can&rsquo;t handle with the Lord at my side&rdquo;.</p> <p>Florence had a graceful way of handling life and its ups and downs and it was truly inspiring. She never ended a conversation before telling you that she loved you.</p> <p>In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mitchell Cancer Institute in Mobile, Alabama and St. Jude&rsquo;s Children&rsquo;s Hospital.</p>
