<p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>On November, 27th, 2020, Ruth Ann Bursick (Adams), 91, of Munhall, PA, passed away peacefully in her home. Ruth was born on September 22, 1929, in Pittsburgh, PA.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Ruth married the love of her life, and long-term sweetheart, Matthew Bursick Sr., in 1950. Those who knew the couple described them as soul-mates and passionately devoted to one another.&nbsp; Following their marriage, Ruth gave birth to three beloved children: Linda Gimeno (Bursick), Matthew Bursick Jr., and Mark Bursick.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Ruth spent her working years employed at local fashion boutiques and at the Heritage House in Homestead, PA. She remembered these years fondly, and truly enjoyed assisting her clients and forging meaningful connections with them.&nbsp; She enjoyed spending time with her family, singing in a local church choir, and socializing with close friends.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Those who knew Ruth described her as an optimistic, faithful, stylish, warm, and generous woman. She devoted her time to helping those around her, and always saw the good in others.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Ruth, affectionally known by her family as &ldquo;Mema,&rdquo; was a devout Lutheran and member of St. John Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Homestead, PA. She overcame the difficulties of life with gracefulness and bravery, and celebrated the beautiful moments with gratitude and open-heartedness. She loved her family, and they loved her in return. She especially cherished her role as a grandmother, and adored her three grandchildren, passing on to them stories from her past and a legacy of enduring love.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Surviving are Ruth&rsquo;s daughter Linda Gimeno, sons Matthew Bursick Jr.; Mark Bursick, son-in-law Jos&eacute; Gimeno, daughter-in-law Donna Bursick, and grandchildren Rebecca Gimeno, Samantha Bursick, and Nicholas Bursick.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Preceding Ruth in death were her husband, Matthew Bursick Sr., her mother, Anna Adams (Sega), her father, Andrew Adams, and brother Robert Adams.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Due to current restrictions on gathering, Ruth&rsquo;s family will hold a private service and interment.&nbsp;Arrangements entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc.</strong></span></p>

On November, 27th, 2020, Ruth Ann Bursick (Adams), 91, of Munhall, PA, passed away peacefully in her home. Ruth was born on September 22, 1929, in Pittsburgh, PA. 

Ruth married the love of her life, and long-term sweetheart, Matthew Bursick Sr., in 1950. Those who knew the couple described them as soul-mates and passionately devoted to one another.  Following their marriage, Ruth gave birth to three beloved children: Linda Gimeno (Bursick), Matthew Bursick Jr., and Mark Bursick. 

Ruth spent her working years employed at local fashion boutiques and at the Heritage House in Homestead, PA. Preceding Ruth in death were her husband, Matthew Bursick Sr., her mother, Anna Adams (Sega), her father, Andrew Adams, and brother Robert Adams.

Due to current restrictions on gathering, Ruth’s family will hold a private service and interment. Arrangements entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc.
