Graveside services are pending for Mary Lou Kedy, 87 ,of Wewoka, Oklahoma. Kedy was born on December 16, 1932 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Lee and Helen Drizness. A graduate of Hartshorne High School, she attended East Central University where she obtained a degree in English education.

On January 11,1953, she married Claude Kedy of Hartshorne. The couple lived in Coalgate, Oklahoma from1953-1955 when they moved to Wewoka where they were active members of the community for over sixty years.

Kedy taught English at Wewoka High School. She was active in the Wewoka Golf Association and a member of local bridge clubs.

Kedy was preceded in death by her husband Claude; sister and brother-in-law Patty and Kenny Hamner; brother Anthony Drizness; sister-in-law Betty Drizness; and brother-in-law John Bolt.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Kedy and his wife Paula of Ada, Oklahoma; David Kedy and his wife Darian of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; a sister, Lucy Bolt of Hartshorne, Oklahoma; grandchildren Lindsay Cordova and husband Matt of Austin, TX; Scott Kedy and his wife Audra of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Kevin Kedy of Champaign, Illinois; and Dacus Doornbos of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law Claire Drizness of McAlester, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephew, and friends.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to the Wewoka Golf Association, C/O Wayne Chambers, 3238 N 372 Rd, Holdenville, OK 74848
