<p>Etta Dianne Seyler, 74,&nbsp;of Atwater and formerly of Ravenna passed away Wednesday&nbsp;November 25, 2020 at her home.&nbsp; On March 6, 1946, she was born in Ravenna to the late Alvin and Clara (Lohmie) Seyler.&nbsp;Dianne spent&nbsp;her childhood and early adult years&nbsp;with her foster mother, Blanche Myers,&nbsp;and extended family;&nbsp;all of&nbsp;whom she spoke very fondly of.&nbsp;She joined the Independence family in 1981 when she moved into the Highland home.&nbsp;Dianne&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;chatting with everyone she met, taking&nbsp;vacations,&nbsp;anything&nbsp;Disney, and&nbsp;going on outings&nbsp;with friends.&nbsp;She had attended&nbsp;the First Congressional Church in Ravenna for more than 20 years before&nbsp;moving to Atwater and then she attended&nbsp;the Atwater Congregational Church.&nbsp;Dianne is survived by her housemates Norma and Jane, the extended Myers&rsquo;&nbsp;family, and many Independence staff she considered&nbsp;family.&nbsp;Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 2, 2020 with burial to follow in Atwater Cemetery. &nbsp;In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Western Reserve or Independence of Portage County.&nbsp; Condolences and memories of&nbsp;Dianne&nbsp;may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.</p>

Etta Dianne Seyler, 74, of Atwater and formerly of Ravenna passed away Wednesday November 25, 2020 at her home.  On March 6, 1946, she was born in Ravenna to the late Alvin and Clara (Lohmie) Seyler. Dianne spent her childhood and early adult years with her foster mother, Blanche Myers, and extended family; all of whom she spoke very fondly of. She joined the Independence family in 1981 when she moved into the Highland home. Dianne enjoyed chatting with everyone she met, taking vacations, anything Disney, and going on outings with friends. She had attended the First Congressional Church in Ravenna for more than 20 years before moving to Atwater and then she attended the Atwater Congregational Church. Dianne is survived by her housemates Norma and Jane, the extended Myers’ family, and many Independence staff she considered family. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 2, 2020 with burial to follow in Atwater Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Western Reserve or Independence of Portage County.  Condolences and memories of Dianne may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
