Betty Beck

Betty Nadine Beck, age 87 of Princeton, KY, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on April 27, 1933 in Lyon County to her late parents, Albert Enos Mitchell and Adell Towns Lynch. Betty graduated from Lyon County High School in the Class of 1950. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a homemaker. "Granny" loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was so proud of them. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends laughing, telling stories, and playing games. She also loved serving the Lord through mission work with H.C. for many years. Betty is survived by her husband of 70 years, Harlan Cash "H.C." Beck; three sons, Harold (Debbie) Beck of Benton, Kevin (Maria) Beck of Katie, TX, Todd Beck of Clarksville, TN; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Beck of Hopkinsville; nine grandchildren, Chris (Melanie) Beck, Robyn (Jonathan) Morrison, Amy (Jason) VanAuken, Ryan (Kristin) Beck, Austin (Morgan) Beck, Rachel Hall, Danielle Beck, Monica Beck, Kevin Joseph Beck; fifteen great-grandchildren, Emelia Beck, Savannah Beck, Paxton Beck, Bailey Beck, Cora Beck, Corbin Beck, Ava Birch, Kai Birch, Mary Grace Hall, Hudson Hall, Ballard Hall, Wyatt Hall, Declan Hall, Alayna VanAuken, and Rhodes VanAuken. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Michael Beck; sister, Nora Mae Fitts. A private graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lyon County and a memorial service will be held at a later time. Morgan's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
