<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Leona Cotonuts, age 63, of Roosevelt, Utah, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Provo, Utah.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was born on April 21, 1957, in Roosevelt, to Develia Cesspooch (San Juan) and Harry Cotonuts. As a young girl Leona lived in Randlett, Utah and later attended and<br /> graduated from high school in Kaysville Utah.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At age 21 she served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hawaii. Leona began her career working for financial institutions<br /> such as 1st Security Bank in the town of Roosevelt and finished her career after numerous years of working at the BIA offices located in the Uintah and Ouray Tribal offices in Ft.<br /> Duchesne, Utah.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Leona spent several years fostering numerous young children. People who knew her can speak to her friendly and helpful attitude. Leona was well known and respected<br /> by many people both within and without the Tribal community.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Leona is survived by her foster son, Jeremy UncaSam, Panguitch; her siblings, Alverda Cotonuts (Mike Hammond) Indiana; Larry Holly, Arizona; Isabell San Juan,<br /> Bobby San Juan Jr, both of Utah; Wynette Poleviyoama; and numerous nieces and nephews.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Develia; her step-father, Bobby Yazzie San Juan, Sr.; her grandparents, Juan and Ellen Cesspooch and Billy and<br /> Ella Cotonuts; sister Clarinda Cesspooch; and brother Arick Cotonuts; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Due to COVID-19, services will be for immediate family only. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Randlett Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The services will be live-streamed at the link below. There will be a final viewing following the services and the burial will be in the Randlett Cemetery.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints missionary fund.</p>

     Leona Cotonuts, age 63, of Roosevelt, Utah, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Provo, Utah.
     She was born on April 21, 1957, in Roosevelt, to Develia Cesspooch (San Juan) and Harry Cotonuts. As a young girl Leona lived in Randlett, Utah and later attended and

     At age 21 she served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hawaii. Leona began her career working for financial institutions
